Our members, Maggie and Steve, have purchased a property where they wish to provide a place that educates about beekeeping. They have started a GoFundMe page that you can contribute to in order to see their dream come alive.

The next barrel project has begun. The beer is a Belgain Dubbel where you can find the recipe here. Happy brewing!

Dan has invited the club to tailgate with him on October 24. You can find his setup in lot E14 to the west of Assembly Hall right off 1st Street. He will be there from 5 am, but will have breakfast at 8 am and a brunch/lunch from 11:00 am. Sides and drinks are welcome. See photo for details on tailgate spot

We are starting up Happy Hours again! This time we will do it at Blind Pig Brewpub on October 28 starting at 5pm. Come and go as you please. Blind Pig has trivia that evening starting at 6.

The November meeting will be held at Riggs Brewing on November 5th at 7pm. Matt Riggs will tell us about his time in Germany where he studied brewing

Join us for our chili cook-off on November 7 at Dandy Hound! We will have plenty of chili to try and vote for along with homebrew served and a dusty bottle raffle. The chili sampling will be from 6-8pm and we will announce our winners. All money will go towards cancer research at the MDS Foundation.

Join us for "Mead & Merriment" the first ever Central Illinois mead festival! Mead & Merriment - CU Mead Festival 2026 will be held on December 12th. You will enjoy unique, local and semi-local mead from Tree Hive, B Nectar, Unpossible, Wildwood Cellars, Fox’s Den, Honey Heist, and Small Memories Winery and Mead.
