A magnet needs to stick to whatever pot he is going to use... I don't know that they are usually that much more expensive, they are just a different grade of stainless.

The pot will also have to be ferromagnetic. Unfortunately none of the brewing pots I have are.

Pour 24 is cool in New York New York.

There is a Hofbrauhaus as well. I've never been to any of the actual brewpubs or breweries because I tend to be stuck to the strip when I go.

In my mind, filtering is a way to clarify or clear beer. There are really probably two main ways to remove yeast and haze causing proteins from beer: mechanical and chemical.

Also... 5.2 contributes sodium and it can be a fair amount depending on how much you actually have to use to adjust the mash.

For darker beers, your mash pH will likely be in the ballpark with no adjustment at all. To get it exactly, you will need …
