2012 Fall Bulk Grain Buy

This is to see if there is enough interest in a Fall bulk grain buy. So please chime in if you are interested and we can go from there. Thanks.

I would get 2 sacks of Superior Pale Ale malt. And I'll ask the Mattoon club.

I would be interested in DME and possibly some other grains.

I could use a half bag of a quality pale ale and a half bag of pils.

I 'm sharing a bag of Best Pils w/ Mark K.

I know I could use a bag of pale, and about 10#s of 15/20, 40, 80, 120, Chocolate, and maybe some Vienna, Munich and Pils for just off the top of my head.

I don't know if we are going to be doing a spring grain buy so this might be it until this time next year.

I'll probably buy about three bags base malt. I might also buy some specialty grains, depending on what is purchased. I don't need any crystal malts though.

I will close order on Monday November 5th, in the evening. Please place your order before then. If you ask for a few pounds of something, you probably won't get it unless you can get someone to give you their share of a bag or half bag. So it makes much more sense to order in 1/4 bag, 1/2 bag, or full bag increments.

up to 1 sack Pilsner (if full sack, then BD-PILS)
up to 1 sack British Pale (if full sack, then BD-PALE)
up to 1 bag Golden Light DME (item # 5748)
up to 1# Horizon hops (HU‐90HRZ)
up to 1# Magnum hops (HU‐90MGN) (if available, I'm not sure what column to read on the hop chart)
I will take partial of anything above.

I may be interested to fill out other hop amounts if there are partials.

No. Sorry. The updated post is the total order.

I'd be willing to split one of those Pils malts bags with Andy if he didn't want the full sack. Meaning I'd get 1 sack of the CM-Pils and one half sack of whatever he preferred. If not, get the 2 full sacks of CM Pils for me.
