OLD NEWS

Competition – We seem to be in good shape for key positions for the competition. As time draws near there will be small projects that will need to be completed. Look for more information as we get closer to June. We are in need of someone to update information on the web page and manage data for entries as they come in. Let us know if you are interested.

New Business

Web Page Management – We are looking for a web aware individual to update and manage the club website. If you have the skills and interest, please let me know at lamacher@sbcglobal.net.

Brewing Presentation – There will be a presentation by Phillip Wilson at the Champaign Public Library on March 1st @ 7 pm. If you are free, stop in to show support for a fellow BUZZ member and homebrewing.

Judges Classes – The club is currently conducting classes to prepare for the tasting exam for BJCP certification. The club will cover the cost of the online exam. There will be a small cost to cover the beers presented at each class. Contact Tim for more information or check the forum.

Triptych 3rd Anniversary Party – Triptych is 3 years old this year and is having a birthday party at the Accord. Doors open at 7 pm, no cover charge. Visit Triptych Brewing on Facebook for more information.

Big Brew – For those that have not had a chance to participate in a big brew at Triptych, we will have another one scheduled for late April or early May. The beer will be brewed in time to have it available for the post party after the competition.

Open Pre-business Meeting – In an effort to streamline the business side of the meeting, there will be an open meeting beginning at 6:15 on the normal meeting night. This meeting is open to anyone interested in attending. It will be held in the tasting room at Triptych.
